Hi, HOW CAN WE HELP YOU?

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We've compiled a list of commonly asked questions to help you get the most out of your Moonrays Solar Lights.

HOW DO I TELL IF MY SOLAR LIGHT IS ON?

Solar lights from Moonrays are designed for ease of use and energy efficiency. You can typically tell if your solar light is on by performing the following steps:

  • Visual Check: Look for visible illumination coming from the LED bulb.
  • On/Off Switch: Make sure the switch is in the "On" position. If the light is not on, try toggling the switch off and then back on to reset.
  • Hand Test: Use your hand to cover the solar panel. If the light does not come on, push or slide the "On" button and the light should come on.
  • Ambient Light Sensor: Some models have sensors that activate the light when it's dark. Ensure the sensor is not obstructed or covered.
  • Battery Status: If the light is not turning on, the battery may be low. Allow the solar panel to charge in direct sunlight for at least 6–8 hours.

For more specific instructions related to your model, consult the product manual. If you encounter issues, you may also reach out to Moonrays Customer Support for further assistance.

HOW DO I TURN ON MY CRACKLE BALL PATHWAY LIGHT?

Operating your Crackle Ball Pathway Light is simple. Use the toggle located on the side of your light to control its functions:

  • Slide to the Left: This setting provides solid light.
  • Middle Position: This is the "Off" position for your light.
  • Slide to the Right: This activates the color-changing option (RGB).

If you have any more specific queries, you can consult the product manual or reach out to Moonrays Customer Support for additional assistance.

WHY DOES MY SOLAR LIGHTS NOT STAY ON VERY LONG?

There could be several reasons why your solar lights are not staying on as long as you expect:

  • Water Resistance: Although your light is water-resistant, it is not waterproof. Heavy rain may damage the solar panels.
  • Temperature: Colder temperatures can decrease battery life, reducing the duration the light stays on.
  • Overcast Conditions: Cloudy or overcast conditions will not allow for a full charge of the solar panel, reducing the amount of time the light stays on.

For best results, make sure to position your solar lights in an area where they can receive ample sunlight and check the weather conditions. If problems persist, consult the product manual or reach out to Moonrays Customer Support for further assistance.

HOW DO I PROGRAM MY LOW VOLTAGE TRANSFORMER

Programming your low voltage transformer is generally straightforward. Follow these steps to set up your device:

  • Locate the Timer: Find the timer controls, which could be a digital interface or manual dials.
  • Set the Current Time: Usually done by holding a 'Clock' or 'Time' button and then using the up/down arrows.
  • Program On/Off Times: Use the 'Program' or 'Timer' button to set when you want the lights to turn on and off.
  • Save Settings: Press 'OK' or 'Set' to save your settings.
  • Manual Override: Most transformers have this option for turning lights on or off outside the programmed times.
  • Test: Ensure that your lights operate according to the programmed settings.

If you encounter difficulties, consult your product manual or reach out to Moonrays Customer Support for additional help.

MY LIGHTS ARE MISSING THE SPIKE

If you think your lights are missing spikes, don't worry just yet. The spikes are typically stored upside-down in the tubes for packaging purposes. To locate them:

  • Check the Tube: Carefully examine the packaging tube; the spikes are often stored upside down.
  • Remove and Attach: Once located, remove the spikes from the tubes and attach them to your lights.

If you still cannot find the spikes or encounter any issues, feel free to reach out to Moonrays Customer Support for further assistance.
